Branding Colors

Using a bold yellow to symbolize IMPULSE’s pioneering spirit and advocacy for immigrant voices, I paired it with vibrant accents to cultivate open-mindedness from the personal stories IMPULSE shares in its immigrant artist interviews. I added some silver tones to give the magazine a touch of futurism to aid its focus on new media and installation art.

To make quotes more engaging and shareable, I designed templates that

  • Break long quotes into shorter segments

  • Incorporate complementary visuals to maintain user interest on a fast-paced platform like Instagram.

Growth Strategy

Leveraging my experience in Instagram management, I analyzed IMPULSE’s user engagement, identified key follower personas, and crafted ads promotion strategies to grow both follower base. In just a month, these strategies helped double the account’s following.
